Are you interested in trying out your acting skills?
Ever watched an Amateur Dramatic group and thought 'I could do that'?
Fancy trying your hand at lighting or sound or working backstage?
Our group was founded in 1947 and has been going strong ever since. Over the years we have ventured into most aspects of stage entertainment: drama; thrillers, one-act plays, reviews, music halls and musicals.
We are an informal and enthusiastic group of people coming from all walks of life to 'tread the boards' and to enjoy a lively and varied social calender, it's all about having some fun!
We put on two shows a year, Spring and Autumn, each one is different as you can see from our prevuos shows below.
You don't need any experience just come along and see for yourself how it all works, we love to see new faces.
Come and see us on a Tuesday night, no pressure to join or get involved, just get an idea for yourself of how the drama group works.
We meet most Tuesdays at the Village Hall in Aspley Guise, which is close to Woburn Sands and Milton Keynes. We start around 8:00pm and finish by 10:00pm.
The annual membership fee is currently £20 however concessionary rates may be available for the un-waged. Membership is open to anyone aged 16 or over.
Here are some pictures taken during rehearsals for a previous production, The Ghost Train, showing actors working hard and being brilliant! The behind-the-scenes / special effects crew were also brilliant and rose to the challenge superbly.
We worked our socks off to try to do what The Guardian recently described as 'The World's Scariest Play' justice, and enjoyed every minute of rehearsals.
